Atmosphere and food quality was great . Food was very flavorful and fresh. I ordered the fettuccine with wild mushrooms..excellent choice! Spinach salad with pine nuts was so yummy.
Will be returning for sure.

“Excellent Local Italian Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2013

BV Tuscany is an excellent restaurant. I have been there many times and have yet to be disappointed. It is a relatively small spot, yet it is still comfortable. The food offered is not your everyday Italian food. Rather it is rustic northern Italian fare. However, if you are here and craving an Italian favorite or classic, they will make it. "Other than pizza, if it is Italian, ask us and we will make it for you." The staff is very accommodating and attentive. It is not cheap, but the food is high quality and there is value for the price paid.

Some of my personal favorites here (though an individual's tastes may vary) are the Branzino and Lobster Fra Diavolo. Make sure to pay attention to the specials as there is always at least one gem on there.

For dessert, try the strawberries balsamico. It is strawberries cooked with sugar, balsamic vinegar and black pepper served over vanilla gelatto. It is made to order.

“Tuscan Flavors”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2013

My wife and I stopped in on a cold snowy night and were greeted with the wonderful warmth of Tuscany. This quaint restaurant is just the place for those who long for the flavors of Tuscany and desire the highest quality service. You will receive both in spades.
After hearing the specials we placed our meal order and because we love to share our dishes our server took the time to go over everything with us so that we would be served everything in a fashion that would allow the meal to progress smoothly.
We started with the soup of the day which was a mushroom soup with a broth base (no cream.) Hearty and earthy the soup had amazing flavors was a delight on such a cold day. In addition to the soup we had the lamb meatballs in a lemon and rosemary sauce. The flavor of the lamb was strong but not overpowering and the lemon and rosemary did a nice job of balancing the dish. Next we had the arugula salad special with pear which was also amazing. I wish they might have added a little gorgonzola to compliment the dish and next time I might suggest it.
Next was the risotto special, another mushroom dish, and was expertly prepared. For our entree we had Jumbo shrimp wrapped in prosciutto di Parma pan seared and served over broccoli rabe Tuscan white beans and plum tomato drizzled with herb oil. My wife preferred spinach to the broccoli rabe and the substitution wasn't a problem.
For dessert we ordered the Ricotta cheese cake and their house special dessert which I can't fully describe but was remarkable.
In addition they gave us a couple of glasses of the strawberry infused grappa. If you never had grappa before because you thought it was too strong, try this. It was delicious.
If the menu doesn't impress you, trust me that the service will. They took such good care of us during our visit. Everyone makes it his job to keep the customer happy and treats you like royalty.
I can't wait for my next visit and the other wonderful dish's to try.

“Delicious food in an inviting, intimate setting.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2013

This cute little storefront restaurant features authentic Tuscan food served by a friendly and professional staff. The food is consistently good, especially the Branzino prepared table-side. They have an extensive menu, just make sure you leave room for dessert.
