This hotel is run down and in need of a major face lift. If we didn’t have a free night stay at a Holiday Inn we wouldn’t have stayed here. The Hampton Inn across the way is much nicer. The entry way had smelled like throw-up, the roof in the lobby was leaking, and the floor in the room was damp. If I had to say anything nice about this hotel is that it does have good WiFi throughout the hotel and the location is good. Easy access from the highway and stores and restaurants near by.

Hotel was decent for the one night stay for my friend and I before we set off on a longer trip. We chose this hotel for it's location off 295 so we could get an early start the next morning. Also it was less expensive than the neighboring hotels.

This is an older large commercial type hotel that seems to cater to business functions, reunions, weddings etc...The large lobby has comfortable furnishings but felt a bit cavernous and empty even though people were coming and going. There was a nice large outdoor pool that did not appear to be used even though it was very hot out.

Front desk staff was very nice. Check in and check out were quick and easy.

The restaurant which sits out in of the lobby is very cold, dark and un-inviting. There was decent typical buffet breakfast for about $10.00 per person which was included in my room rate. There is a bar/lounge that is also cold feeling a few steps up from the restaurant.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. Seemed well maintained and clean for the short time I was there. Bedding was very comfortable.

One major negative was an AWFUL smell in the lobby that did not go away for the 2 days I was there. Trash, dirty locker, sweat, chlorine???? All ideas that came to mind when I smelled it. Not sure what it was or where it was coming from but it was all over the lobby. I asked the girl at the front desk about it and she said sometimes people mention it but she does not smell it (not sure how that is) and she does not know what it is. Very odd.

Overall decent, large, older hotel but if another hotel nearby is the same price definitely compare.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn during a trip to Philadelphia. The lobby is quite spacious and was larger than a typical Holiday Inn due to its "select" status. The check-in was also speedy with a friendly front desk person.

Upon entering the room, the place looked clean enough but upon examination of the bed, we found at least 5 pieces of hair, some pubic, that must have belonged to at least 3 different people because they were different colors. The beds have a duvet style coverlet that is white but I highly doubt this gets washed frequently. I guess I am overly anal when it comes to examining beds since the 5 pieces of hair may have gone undetected by other guests who do not look as closely. When we informed the front desk about this issue, they immediately apologized, offered us free breakfast, and moved us to a different room. However, upon examining the bed in the second room, I once again found at least 2 pieces of hair on the bed. At this point, I figured a third room would have the same issue so I just removed the hairs with a tissue. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast buffet the next day was mediocre at best but the waitstaff was very courteous.

Overall, this hotel is not bad for the value and if you tend to overlook the lapses in sanitation, you may be fine here.

We had my son and daughter in laws wedding and reception at the Holiday Inn and I could not have asked for anything better. Christine Perry (the host at the Holiday Inn for the event) was absolutely wonderful and accomading to all of our needs. What a great person for the job. If I ever have to have another big event, it will be held at the Holiday Inn. Alot of us reserved rooms and they kept the public bar open for us. Then we sat in the bar area until 4 am talking. I could not have asked for a better arrangement. It all went well without a glitch and my son and new daughter will forever remember their special day. The beds are also very comfortable. Probably the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel. Thank you Holiday Inn in Swedesboro for making our special day, so much more special.

Room Tip: Try getting a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor.

Was attending an event at Dream Park that had listed a special rate in advance. As bad weather came on, called the hotel the day of the event and even though they had a wedding reception going on they accepted my room request at the advance purchase rate.
King size room was spotless, but could have used mouthwash in the bathroom to go with all the free coffee. Dog friendly, at least for this weekend (dog event at Dream Park) and didn't hear dogs in other rooms thru the walls. Multiple elevators in center cluster.
Restaurant in the building. Had been to the restaurant many times, never stayed here. Restaurant is odd in that its usually not open, you sit at the comfy bar and order food there. Oddly they brought out one order at a time even though six of us were dining.
Other minor complaints: outside door didn't have a card swipe option, you had to prop it open. Bad smell on back side of motel (walking to front since the door in back couldn't be opened from the outside). TV remote a bit cumbersome to just plain get to the channels past all the pay movie, game and service options...the first time. Could have done more to melt snow/ice especially with the other guests in wedding outfits.
