The DeBary Inn is all one would ask for in a B&B and more.
Hill and Anita Rose are warm, accomodating hosts who assist
their guests from the moment one enters until departure. The Inn is attractive, clean and inviting. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. A "snack" area is available 24 hours per day and is stocked with juices, soft drinks, granola bars, etc.
We used the Inn for a family gathering and truly found the ideal place. We were able to reserve rooms that accomodated the needs of family members of all ages. The dining area, sitting area and parlor provided our get-together with a more personal, intimate setting than one would experience in a hotel.
Anita's breakfasts were delicious with homemade compote, jams and jellies, pancakes and more! The coffee was excellent.
The DeBary is great for couples, families and business travelers.
We highly recommend the DeBary and will definitely stay there again whenever we are in the Summit area.

Very nice. Comfortable bed. Quiet room. Non-smoking inn. Great breakfasts. We shared a bath, but never had a conflict. (There is a sink in the room.) 5-10 minute walk to Summit train station, stores and a number of good restaurants nearby. Wonderful art and antiques.

I just moved to New Jersey and have been living at the DeBary Inn for a little over a week. The DeBary Inn is the best place to stay in Summit and the surrounding area. The innkeepers, Hill and Anita Rose excel in their hospitality. They provide plenty of information about the area (maps and menus of local restaurants, running routes etc), and can help orientate anyone unfamiliar with the city. The basics are all there - a big, warm, soft bed, cushy towels, tvs, an iron and ironing board in each room, and delicious food (even if you like to sleep in, you won't want to miss the breakfasts!). And then there are the extras - wireless internet, snacks in the kitchen lounge, books to read, a fireplace and music in the sitting room, and the friendly, interesting guests you meet at breakfast each morning. There is ample parking at the DeBary Inn (handy because parking can be scarce in Summit), and downtown (with fabulous restaurants and shops) is literally just down the street. I have recommended the DeBary Inn to all of my friends and family, and if I ever again have need of a place to stay in Summit, I will stay at the DeBary Inn.

We found this B and B on the Internet, but also have family in Summit. We found our stay to be extremely pleasant and are looking forward to our return in January of '07. Anita and Hill are wonderful innkeepers and so very friendly. They made us feel like we were home!!!!!!!!!!! And the breakfasts were beyond delicious. Highly recommend this Inn .

I have stayed many times at the DeBary Inn this past year. The establishment is charming inside and out though the exterior is currently being re-done. The rooms compliment the decor of the Victorian house. The two rooms I have stayed in were spacious and clean. There is a side room with a fridge and microwave for guests use along with healthy snacks. One can melt in the fluffy, thick towels after a shower. Anita's epicurean breakfasts are fit for a King: poached pear, pecan pancakes, salmon, eggs benedict, chicken/turkey sausage, fruit, yogurt to mention a few. Her homemade fruit preserves are to die for.
