This is a great place to grab a quick burger.. they have 7 or 8 different burgers on the menu.. or build your own. They run specials during the week too. Families can eat in the front or singles/couples can eat around the bar the back. This is where you meet the locals !

The restaurant, my first time despite being an area resident for decades, was a bit disappointing. HOWEVER, given that it was the second night of a massive power outage, they did their best. My order was completely wrong and I wasn't able to finish eating it. I didn't have the heart to tell the very tired waitress that it needed to go back. I'd try the place again in a less frantic situation though. It's cozy inside like an English Pub which is nice on a cold day.

We attempted to eat here last night and wound up only drinking for free because our food was never going to come. We sat at the bar, as the dining area was packed, and ordered a few drinks along with apps and entrees. After about 30 minutes of waiting the bartender commented that the kitchen must have gone to Buffalo to get our calamari. Finally, approximately an hour after ordering and having two rounds of drinks, we had had enough. We asked to cancel the entire order and close the tab out. The bartender was apologetic and comped us our rounds, which we were certainly appreciative of. However, we were still hungry so we headed to Roots and spent way more than we probably should. Anyway, the place seemed ok for drinks and cheer for the steady local crowd. However be forewarned that if none of your order has come out in half an hour, it would be wise to head for the door.

We popped in for a late lunch. I ordered the chicken cheese steak, he ordered a burger. We were both satisfied beyond expectation. Seemed to have a nice beer selection, too. We plan on returning soon. Definitely give it a try.

We have gotten take out from this Beacon Hill Tavern twice and really enjoyed it. We recently ate there for the first time. The dining room is small and cozy; it's a great casual neighborhood spot. It's definitely a popular spot as every time we have eaten there or picked up food for take out, the place was quite busy. The service was very prompt and attentive. The food is very good, and they have a wide variety of selections including a long list of appetizers, soups, salads, burgers, entrees, quesadillas, etc. Also note that the servings are quite large so plan on taking home the leftovers. We will definitely be going back.
