“Not impressed”
Reviewed April 5, 2014

Dined here for a business meeting. The restaurant seemed like it could use a facelift. The place wasn't bad, but is really nothing to write home about. I am a fan of this restaurant group as they own Roots in Morrisstown and Tabor Road tavern in Morris Plains and I like both of those places. I am not running back to this place any time soon.

“Great food and love the fireplace in bar area”
Reviewed February 25, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Huntley Tavern is always great food, maybe just a tad pricy but worth every penny. The tuna appetizer is the best, well the calamari salad is also excellent. they used to have a steak tips on the lunch menu which was the best thing on the menu but they took it off and who knows why, asked the waiter and he said that was a favorite and did not know why it was taken off. they have grass feed burgers and they are excellent and the best red meat for you. Would like to see some gluten free item on menu. One of the best places to eat in the area.

“Best sprouts in the world!”
Reviewed February 6, 2014

Honestly....the sprouts and crispy bacon were a dream....anyone who says they hate sprouts you need to haul your backside down to the HT and check these babies out!,

Ambience is great, food wonderful.....service is a bit crummy but otherwise is good!

Parking outside, convenient and good for business dinners

“Disappointed”
Reviewed January 18, 2014 via mobile

Took business guests upon recommendation of the concierge of the Short Hills Hilton. We were seated immediately, good. Attentive to start with, good, went downhill.......our server Michael, sold us hard on the sauces and the specials. We ordered, one drink each. Our salads and apps arrived in about 20 minutes, expecting a delicious treat. Bland, non descript tuna tartare, crab cakes, etc.
Entrees appeared after another 30 minute wait, dropped on the table by a bus boy and left alone for the duration of the meal. Steaks were good, cod and tuna was probably fit for my cat. We aired 25 minutes for our plates to be cleared, by then no one wanted coffee or dessert, waiting another 15 minutes for our check to be processed, and we left, never to return.
