Reviewed March 6, 2008

One of the best places in the area for a romantic evening out. The upscale tavern provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere, complete with fireplace, wrap-around porch, and hardwood floors. You will want to linger on and continue your evening with drinks and dessert.

We went on a really cold night and the windows were very drafty. But the food was good and the service was fine. Prefer Trap Rock, which is owned by the same people.

“Great time at Huntley Tavern!”
Reviewed January 27, 2008

I had a fantastic experience at Huntley Tavern! I went to lunch there on a random Wednesday afternoon, had a scrumptious soup, delicious salad, a real nice glass of wine, and my husband had a very pricey burger, however it was suberb. The waiter was attentive and the atmosphere was great so I would consider throwing a small party there anytime!

“What a nosedive!!!!”
Reviewed October 6, 2007

Avoid...avoid...avoid. Noise level so bad, you have to shout to hear yourself talk. Hanger steak was tough and tasteless. Service was inexperienced, like the busboys were promoted to waiters that night. This place used to be sooo good! Its now nothing more than a shell of itself/

“It ain't Uncle Mike's”
Reviewed August 25, 2007

Mgt. was very accomodating with reservations. Our time kept changing as air arrival times were scrambled because of weather. The service was terrible. Poor English when you could get their attention. We had to wave and wave and wave. There appeared to be only one professional server in the large downstairs dining room. The wine list is mediocre and over-priced. The food was just passable, 'tho the salmon was perfect.
Anyone who would enjoy the bar, as a poster above did, deserves this place. Tarted up food and prices. Just what an arriviste would expect. This place says much about the changing Summit demographics.
The old money and quality folks have moved.

Bring back Uncle Mike's.
