We recently ate at Negeen Persian Grill for the first time and had a delightful meal. Our party of three arrived early on a Saturday evening (pre-show dinner) and were greeted warmly by the hostess and a gentleman who we assumed to be the owner. We split a delightfully smooth hummus and kashke bademjan (a roasted eggplant, garlic and onion paste) served with warm pita. In contrast to some other comments seen here, the pita was included in the price of the appetizers. Entrees were two of their kabobs and shirin polo (chicken with flavored basmati rice). Everything was cooked fresh and was quite flavorful. All were enjoyed immensely. We passed on dessert. Service was fine throughout. We used a groupon certificate and had no objection to the 18% gratuity added to the bill as I'm sure there are some who do not tip on the full amount of the pre-discounted total. As mentioned, this was our first time dining at Negeen Persian Grill and we would gladly return.
