My wife and I stopped in with another couple recently for lunch. The service was very good, but the food was average pub type fare. I had a blackened chicken sandwich which came with their homemade chips. My wife had a chicken cheesesteak and our friends shared a veggie burger platter. The meal was okay for what it was--a bite to eat after walking the beach and heading over to 96th Street. I must say that the onion rings we shared were pretty good and actually the tastiest part of the meal. All of the staff were friendly and the food was served promptly. The prices are pretty reasonable considering the location.

My husband and I regularly go to dinner here. They offer a wide range of food with generous portions. Their scallops wrapped in bacon are delicious, as are their crab cakes and chicken and shrimp dish. The atmosphere is very inviting, especially in this quiet town. Great place to watch a sporting event and enjoy a cocktail and an appetizer. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly and courteous. Probably the best place to bring the kids as well. Worth checking out for a fun night.

We ate here for dinner recently. The service was poor and extremely slow. Our server would disappear for big blocks of time. We asked to have the kids meal served first (ordered with our drinks) it finally arrived with our meals and was so piping hot she couldn't even eat it. By the time refills were offered on our drinks we were nearly done eating. The food was just ok. Don't think we will be back here.

Your average pub food. The potato chips really weren't good; if you're going to make home-made, make them good.

One of three taverns in Stone Harbor, this location has had several names and leaseholders over the years. The quality has really been up and down for the last several years since P.J. Ryan's gave up the lease This is the second summer for the current owners and the current reincarnation (http://stoneharborbarandgrill.com), and they seem to have things well in control. Nice open bar and high top tables with a view of 96th Street as well as conventional tables, and an upstairs with a pool table. They have seasonal specials, and some live entertainment on the weekends. There is a good selection of beers on tap, and an Oasis machine if you are in the mood for boat drinks. There is a pretty extensive bar food menu with the usual selection of salads, sandwiches, wraps, pizza, and munchies. The salads are served in taco shell bowls. The food is good, and prices seem fair, considering it is Stone Harbor. Three of us for dinner last night - the ladies drinking house wine and eating salads, me drinking the special $2 Yuengling pints and eating $0.35 wings - the bill, including tip came to $80. We always sit at the bar, so really can't speak about the wait staff, but they seem to be hustling around getting the job done. The bartenders are great - mostly locals that you see year round. Lots of TVs if you want to watch the game.
