As the busy summer season was fast approaching, my husband and I decided to take a mini-vacation to the Jersey Shore... After a lot of research we came upon the Spring Lake Inn and decided to stay for a couple of days... WOW... The Inn is beautiful, clean, and the service was amazing. For breakfast we were served the most delicious Spinach Pie and after walking back from town later in the afternoon we snacked on cheese and crackers and lovely lemonade... Later in the evening we sat on the large front porch and did something we never do...RELAXED! The Spring lake Inn is one block from the ocean and an amazing romantic getaway. We will be heading back soon and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Room Tip: All rooms have Flat screen TV's and the Inn has WIFI...

Spring Lake, NJ is only 1/2 hr drive from our house ; but it feels like a generation away. We needed to get away, just for a night. Spring Lake Inn was running a pre season special. A TV show had redone some rooms & they looked very inviting. At 1/2 price you could stay in one of these special rooms. The room we chose was on the 2nd floor, I was afraid it would be musty with some new linens, like so many B&B's at the Jersey Shore. To my Husband's & my delight we walked into a very classy, romantic, to rival any boutique Inn, room. There was a plush grey carpet, with all the colors matching. A king bed, comfy couch, electric fp, which was needed when the sun dipped. Flat screen tv, mis. tables & chairs. 3 large windows that opened & in the middle of the night you could hear the soft sound of the waves. We drove nearby for a very tasty meal. I ate so much we skipped breakfast. The Inn was very inviting, all the staff we met ,to the nostalgic wrap-a-round front porch, complete with rockers. You get picky staying at all these lovely Inns, so the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 might seem trivial to some but not all. The bathroom was very small & no tub, also no alarm clock. These things didn't matter to us but the fact that we wouldn't be able to afford to stay here without the special does matter.

Room Tip: look for a special

Thank you for your kind words. Having celebrated our 10th anniversary we have learned quite a lot about our Inn, our guests and our area. We had alarm clocks in the beginning and found that our guests did not appreciate the alarm going off at various hours throughout the day and night. So we removed the alarm clocks and provide them on request. Cell phones have become the alarm of choice. We do have some rooms with Jacuzzi tubs and claw foot soaking tubs, with a wide range of rates. We are pleased to offer specials based on our callers unique circumstances and the day of the week. Callers are encouraged to work with us to get a comfortable, fair rate for a weekday stay. The Spring Lake Inn is very proud to have been the only Inn in the Tri state area chosen by the HGTV Show " Design Star". There have been many calls of congratulations from our regulars with the comment "well deserved" This is a special place that offers history with current amenities at the shore.

We traveled from the West coast with nine family members ranging in ages from 6 to 80 to attend a family reunion and introduce "The Shore" to the next generation. The younger children were excited to experience the stories they'd heard about - wrap around porches in victorian house, the boardwalk, expansive beaches, and the Jersey accent. The Inn was perfect balance - for just a few days it felt more like a home than a hotel. The rooms and building are well kept and charming, but the feel is breezy and casual. It's so refreshing to have an inn were you feel as comfortable in a beach cover-up as your special-summer dress. And the owners were wo helpful - orchastrating rooms, helping the 'very pale' find beach umbrellas, telling stories to the youngers kids so they got a feel for the area.

Room Tip: The Inn Keepers Suite is on the first floor and has its own door to the wrap around porch, Plus a si...

With family coming from NY for our baby shower at the Shore, we needed to find a place for our visitors to stay. Being a NJ native, and knowing there are tons of inns, beds/breakfasts, and rentals in the area, we opted for the Spring Lake Inn due to its location, amenities, and rooms--it truly offered the entire package! They were able to accomodate an evening check-in, and their hospitality was apparent from the phone call for reservations through our family's check out process. Their prices for the off season were extremely reasonable and included a wonderful breakfast on Sunday before check out. Walking distance to the beach, it was a really great location for those who wanted to get their morning walk in before starting their trip back on the road. We appreciate the hospitality and definitely recommend this inn to other travelers, and will be reserving rooms for the next family get-together!

Room Tip: Reviewing the rooms online in advance and being able to see the pictures for each was really helpful...

What a quaint town is Spring Lake, NJ. This is the first time we visited and it is a charming town. The Spring Lake Inn was a delightful place to stay. It was homey, with great breakfasts, atmosphere, location, and warm and friendly service. Donna was the sweetest. We splurged on the Victorian Rose room - very romantic with a fireplace and jacuzzi. And the bed was so comfortable. It was expensive, but a very nice escape.

I spend a lovely weekend with my fiance in the moonbeam room at the Spring Lake Inn. The Inn was very cozy and had a lot of character. Our room was very comfortable, (very large bathroom, nice HDTV, a lovely fireplace, ocean view, & tasteful decor). We did not get to meet the owners but the staff was very pleasant. Everything exceeded our expectations; which was tough since we read stellar reviews beforehand. This is the perfect spot for a nice romantic getaway. A great place to recharge and relax. We plan on visiting again as soon as possible!

Room Tip: The moonbeam room was excellent!

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate New Year's Eve. The owner's were friendly and helpful, and our room was perfect. The inn itself is in a great location, has ample parking, and peaceful.
