The Black Trumpet has moved into a large Victorian house facing the ocean. From the front porch you have an unobstructed view of the Atlantic. We ate inside because of the heat, but others chose to eat on the porch. The menu was suitable for the shore, and varied. Our waiter was attentive--maybe too attentive. The food was excellent. This is not a trendy place -- I'd label it more traditional -- but it's not stuffy either. The Black Trumpet is a good place for a family gathering because it seems comfortable for people of all ages.
