This was our second visit to the Breakers; I noted the first time that not only were the accommodations first class, and the restaurant a five star experience, all of the help seem to anticipate your needs. Well, that has not changed, our room with a fabulous ocean view was spotlessly prepared, and the Chef's special on Monday night was an inch thick Rib-Eye steak covered with exquisitely prepared sauted mushrooms. A gravy boat filled with more mushrooms was also served, making the dinner a little above five-star, if that is possible. As for staff, they not only anticipate your needs, they do the impossible when necessary. On our third day, we found that we needed to be in a town on the New Jersey/New York border at 10:00am the next morning. As breakfast is not served until 8:00, and we needed to leave before then, it seemed that we would have a hungry trip. Not so, the staff prepared two very generous helpings of "Breakers" coffee cake with fresh strawberries, and made sure that coffee would be ready at 6:30. This type of thoughtful service is priceless. On a personal note, my only disappointment was that the Piano Lounge was not used the days we were there, we found that a nightcap in the lounge listening to their talented pianist is the perfect way to end a day at the ocean.
