A pleasant dining experience, staff was more than competent and very pleasant. Chef has a creative menu most of which is very nice.
We had breakfast there the next morning which was excellent.

We were a group of 4 couples this past week, and six of us would have given Bistro 6 stars if we could! While somewhat expensive, the food is wonderful, the preparation inventive and generous, and the hospitality shown by Mark and his staff just put it right over the top for us. Among the outstanding dishes that everyone loved (because we couldn't help but sample each other's food) were the tuna special, the swordfish, the pork chops, the scallops, and the crab cakes, as well as the salads and corn chowder. All of these were home runs! 2 of us found the steaks to be just OK. But this is a place we'll come back to for years to come. As one of our friends said, we were surprised there was not a line out the door for food this good.

Real care and commitment to providing fresh food that allows the food's natural flavor and freshness to "shine" -- we loved the made-to-order breakfasts, the Asian salad, special peach/fig salad, and main courses that, while they might seem a touch pricey, in fact are huge -- can feed two, with appetizers. Particularly thought the scallops and the lamb chops were amazing.

My wife found it and we wanted a new place to try. Only opened 1 1/2 yrs. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly staff, the owner greets everyone at their table. Tables were large and not on top of each other, which is important to me. Limited but quality menu. BYOB which actually saves on the bill. Now to the most important part. The food was terrific. Portions were large but you weren't overwhelmed. Preparation was excellent. You felt like the chef took special care of each dish and wasn't the fast-food feel you often get at restaurants. In spite of the wait (the chef slipped and dropped our entries and they had to start all over), we'll definitely be back.

Recommend the Asian calamari salad. Really nicely done. Rack of lamb was perfect and as I mentioned, a large portion.
