My husband and I selected Mohawk House for our anniversary dinner, hoping to have a quiet, romantic evening. It was a Wed. night so it would seem like it was possible, however the restaurant was hosting a large function in the main dining room and we were seated on a porch at the side, which was fine. There were only a couple of tables filled when we came but as our meal came, the hostess seated a group of six men directly behind us and then a pair of men about 12 inches away from me. There were 5 tables between our neighbors and the next table. Why the hostess felt she needed to crowd our corner, I have no idea. Trying to leave was a nightmare and it took us 10 minutes to get out of the parking lot. The result was a fight between myself and a husband and a ruined anniversary. Not the place for a romantic dinner.
