“Most Disgusting Place in the North I've Stayed”

I always associated the name RAMADA as a top-rated hotel. Was I ever wrong! I reserved a smoking, Queen-size bed, got the triple AAA discount that brought the room to $59 and some change. We arrived to the front desk, clerk was "hiding" behind the HIGH counter while on the phone with a personal call. He asked for our names and quickly assigned us a room. Upon arriving upstairs the key had to be inserted three times before I could get the door open. When I openned the door, room had a foul smell. The bathroom was a wreck! Shower rod was hanging by two screws, room lamps had NO bulbs in them, and the mirror in the bath was crazing and in order to put make-up on I ended up wedged between the toilet and the counter of the sink. You could hardly open the bathroom door without wedging yourself between the toilet and the door. The bathroom counter were held up by loose planks! Bathroom was hardly room enough for one person to comfortably turn around in. I notified them that it would be two of us in the room, they left a bath cloth for ONE person, no bathroom mat and one thin, short towel for each of us! The In-room Internet didn't work. I did CAREFULLY search the bed for bedbugs -- didn't find any!

There was a couple that checked-in the same time we did and on our way out of the room met them in the hallway and they told us that they had changed their room THREE times since their arrival because the rooms were not up to PAR!

If the Holiday Inn up the street hadn't been booked up, we would have gotten our money back and went there! DO NOT STAY! It's a good place for couples who need a room for a quickie on Friday and Saturday.

Didn't see the continental breakfast but the rooms were a deterrent to wanting to "find" it! Disgusting! Do not waste your money! Definitely not worth more than the $54.95

I do apologize to our entire guest for inconvenience and the trouble they had to go through in the past. As being the New Management of the property I assure you we are changing our properties service and updating our rooms. Our focus is to give our guest excellent service, neat and clean rooms. We are in the process of renovating the hotel and soon we will have new and updated rooms. The project is big and it will take some time. The reason why we are reaching out to our customers and guests is because we are the New Management Company and we would like the opportunity to accommodate and give them new and improved service. As mentioned the staff are friendly and willing to help, however there's a constant stink on the air, the rooms were not very clean, most supplies were short in our room (towels, toilet paper, tissues). I would not recommend this hotel.

Do not stay in this hotel please. i have bed bugs all over the bed.
i told the manager and he said thats not possible so i show him videos and pics.
they switch me to another room but i couldnt sleep at all worse hotel ever. and if u stay good luck with the bed bugs.

We had two rooms reserved (both non-smoking) and arrived at 3AM as out flight was delayed. We did not get the non-smoking rooms we were promised. We did not really bother with that then. We tried our room and the key would not work so had to go back down. We had just opened the door and were hit by a bad stench from the room. The light would not work (kept flickering). We immediately wanted out room changed. The second one was not any better. Carpets were dirty and the bathroom was falling apart. Our friends hated their room as well. We just cancelled our reservation and walked out immediately. We were fortunate to find two rooms at the Best Western nearby.

Granted, we arrived very late, but we did have a late arrival guarantee for a non-smoking room. What they gave us was what they said was the only room left, and told us that we had requested a smoking room (I guess the confirmation paperwork we showed them had some kind of invisibility spell on it). So we ended up in a room that smelled so disgusting I could not sleep. The walls looked as if things had been ripped off of them in some kind of drunk, rock-and-roll-let's-trash-the-hotel-room-kind-of-rage. The only good thing was the shower, which looked like it had never been used. I was so very very glad to leave.

We stayed at this Ramada and booked an engagement party at the hotel. The staff was friendly, the hotel was pretty, clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfy. We would stay here again.

For 59 dollars for a room, I stayed one night. I wasn't exacting a Hilton, was an okay experience. I cant simply complain about it, it was a good price. Was the best price in the area.
