I went here twice this month - once for lunch and once with a group for dinner. For lunch we had the bruschetta (very good) and then a pasta special with malanzane - excellent and fregula with shrimp and calms - also excellent. Mr Filippo does it all - cook, serve (though there are wait-people too), chat - and, as we found out at dinner - play the piano and sing (in English or Italian). For dinner we let him have his way with us - no menu, tasting menu. Started with a (1) panini-like app, followed by the )2) bruschetta (family style). Then individual plates from there. (3) was a plate of meats, fresh mozzarella (awesome) and very tasty marinated roasted pepper. The (4) was a arugula fritter battered and fried arugula with a mushroom/cheese sauce. No idea how he did it, but it was great. (5) was the tops of the night - a truffle ravioli in olive oil. Incredible taste. He gave us a choice of dinner (pork, chicken, fish). We all choose the cod with large prawn (6). Excellent again. For dessert (7) fresh strawberries with a hint of lemon and mint. Just an outstanding meal. Service spot on. Excellent!
