Smithville Village & its charming "Greene" offer shoppers a great place to visit unique shops (I especially enjoyed the Alpaca shop, Christmas, Gourmet & the Indiana Jerky shops) while strolling its well-manicured grounds & enjoying beautiful weather all at the same time. Ducks from the nearby pond wander the grounds & offer photographic opportunities, as does the little train that runs thru the village. Come to shop, eat or simply to enjoy the beauty of this unique setting just minutes away from Atlantic City.

Spent one day shopping here I really liked that the stores were stores you would shop at. Sometimes in little villages like this there are more stores you would walk through but not shop in and this is the opposite. Only thing I didn't like was they have a lot of ducks and geese etc.. And there were poop droppings everywhere.

This is such a nice place to visit. There are tons of quaint little shops and restaurants. It's a must see if you're looking to spend several hours. There is plenty of parking and more than enough places to get breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. The people in the various shops and restaurants are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to everyone.

Based on all the “must sees” in the Galloway area of southern New Jersey, we ventured out to Smithville to view this historic village. The day we were there many shops were not opened until much later so we explored the area to see what it had to offer. There is a small train ($2.00 per person) that runs around the perimeter of the village as well as an area offering paddle boats on a lake and a carousel ride ($2.00). There are many unique shops, bed and breakfast places and dining venues as you walk along the cobblestone paths. Special events are held here including Oktoberfest and the Irish Festival to name a couple.

Always my first stop when in the area. Visiting the village has been part of my life for over 50 years. My favorite shop has always been the Bakery for their awesome breakfasts and homey atmosphere. Grounds are beautiful. Lots of sweet shops to visit and browse.

The shops and atmosphere was great. There are so many different stores to shop at. It’s a wonderful place to walk around it feels like you have stepped back into time. Great restaurants to choose from. I would certainly make this a stop on any trip to the area.

We stopped by the Smithville village on our way to Atlantic City . We spent a couple of hours walking around and browsing thru the shops .It was a quaint rustic village with plenty to offer. There was a train, a carousel, boat rides, an arcade, a shooting range. There were plenty of shops that carry a lot of custom made souvenirs. There was a wide range of eating options . There was wine tasting. There was a Christmas Shop. There were plenty of beautiful scenery- a lake, a mill, a covered bridge. There happened to be a wedding party photo session when we were there . It was an afternoon well spent because it was a beautiful village .

We visited as part of our holiday to Atlantic City.

Plenty free parking very picturesque.

Loved the shop that sold home made soaps. The lady gave me a free sample with my purchase.

The dog store was nice took some unique cookies back to England for my 3 dogs they loved them.

Worth a trip for a few hours.
