I did not get to do a tasting but was able to discuss wines and the local area with the shopkeeper. Very enjoyable.

This was our second trip to the winery, We bought the gold membership for 10 dollars. Well worth it. Bought a case of their Blackberry wine and rec;d 10% off the price, which was more than the $10 we spent on the gold membership.
You can taste up to 5 wines, and the taste portions are perfect. You get just enough to taste the wine.
Love this place.

The staff is very knowledgeable of the wines they create. I really like their Ice Wine It works great served chilled with dessert. The store offers great gift ideas for the wine snob.

My husband and I loved most of the wines we tasted and we ended up buying 4 bottles, 2 of which were mulled spiced wine that we got to try hot twice at the two different locations in Smithville.

One of the bottles we had the same night. We poured it into the coffee carafe in our room and let it heat up. Then we poured it into our coffee cups and walked around the village. It was lovely. :)

We thought the prices were great and the two gentlemen we spoke to at each location were both friendly and knowledgeable. When we went back for our tasting and to make our purchase, a young girl waited on us. She was very nice, but didn't seem as into the products as the previous gentlemen.

We're planning on going back to Smithville in March and will be stocking up!
