If you have never been to a Benihana, I am not sure what rock you have been living under, but it is an experience not to be missed. This is a great place to have solidly good food and keep the kids entertained. The dining style is communal, so will be seated at a table of 8 regardless of the number in your party, and your food will be cooked "at your table." This restaurant caters to smaller children with a special menu, chef hats, and "starter chopsticks." The entertainment of having your meal cooked before your eyes, keeps kids mesmerized and make picky eaters interested in eating. For adults, the specialty drinks are unique and quite tasty (I tried more than a few), but beware, this is not a great place for quiet conversation...it gets quite loud with all of the talking above the sizzle of dinners, shouts of kids, and server birthday singing. However, this particular Benihana is on the larger side, which means getting a reservation (or just walking in) is a bit easier. The food is good, with many different types of Japanese offerings from hibachi, to sushi and tempora. Most meals come with onion soup and salad with ginger dressing, as well as ice cream or sherbert. Prices are moderate, this is not the Olive Garden...but fair for what you get.
