Friendly staff. Great location. PLENTY of restaurants within walking distance. Outlet shopping within walking distance and 5 minute drive. Free covered parking right next door to hotel. Typical Embassy Suites hotel. About 2 minutes from the NJ Turnpike eastern spur and quick access to NYC via bus or car (RT3->495->Lincoln Tunnel). The number of restaurants and stores within walking distance is amazing!

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days. It is definitely an older hotel and rooms are in great need of updating. Stained, dirty carpet and furniture. But I was pleasantly surprised by the service from the shuttle and front desk, as well as how well I was able to sleep. With the bedroom being separated from the living area by a door it provides for a much quieter environment. Bed was fairly comfortable and pillows were quite nice. There was an issue with not enough hot water but I never had to take a cold one. Just wished it was hotter. Housekeeping took away my bathroom rug after 2nd night and never replaced it. On a positive note it is in easy walking distance to a 24 hour Walmart and the fridge and microwave in the room make it super convenient.

I stayed 18 days at this hotel for work and this hotel does not live up to the Embassy Suites name and reputation. You would think that a Embassy Suites would be remodeled, nothing breaks down and you always have a hot shower. Well this one does not do that. Let me count the ways.

1) The happy hour is a joke. Chips and Salsa and they run out of plates.
2) Coffee is terrible and they never have it on hand. They run out and never refill it
3) The Bar is always close. You think the Bar would be open after the Super Bowl but it was closed when we came back.
4) The Fire Alarm went off at 1:30 in the morning due to a busted pipe. Had to stay out in the cold until the all clear was given.
5) No hot water in the shower a few mornings.
6) The toilet paper is paper thin. had to use more than I had too
7)Breakfast was okay. The weekend short order cook is the best.
8) The night staff is a lot more friendlier than the morning crew
9) Night shuttle guy was friendly but the day shuttle was clueless
10) When we received UPS packages we had to go ask if we received them. even when the front desk morning staff said they would place it in our rooms when we received it.
11) Elevators had issues one night.
12) Maid was okay, She restocked the essential but sometimes forgot to empty trash.
13) I always had issues with my door. The master lock always engaged when I opened the door. They called maintenance and the maintenance guy said you just have to open the door slowly. Pain in the rear
14) Door would not open all the time. I had about 10 room keys from going downstairs and getting new one from the main desk.
15) My room heater was noisy when it turned on.
16) When you turned on the TV it blew you out of the room by the volume. Saying Welcome to the Embassy Suites Secaucus.
17) No hot water
18) No Hot Water
19) No Hilton Points because of the Hotel being directed Bill to my Company. I think if you stay there and it was your choice you should get the points.

I recently traveled to Secaucus for business and was quite put out with this hotel. The hotel happy hour consisted of chips and salsa and they ran out of plates within the first 10 minutes of the beginning of happy hour. I had to change my room 3 times due to noise issues. While checking out they couldn't be bothered with my request for a cab but bent over backwards for the male guests checking out. I won't go back again.

We stayed here for 2 days (4 adults and 1 toddler) the hotel is in a perfect location, close to NY City, there are a lot of restaurants you can walk to. Breakfast is great. The only thing is that the rooms need a little upgrading. They are old. Furniture smelled "funny". We had to call maintenance to "unclog" the tub, but they promptly came to fix the problem.
They have great customer service. Everyone we dealt with was helpful and friendly.

Was a perfect setting for our family, we had an engagement party in the area and over 60 family members and friends stayed at this location. the setting was perfect for our late night and breakfast gatherings in the atrium, very friendly staff, rooms were close together and the overall experience was excellent.

It isn't everyday that you get above an average service from a hotel staff member but imagine all staff members. That however is what Tippy and I experienced on our most recent stay. The Bartender/Waiter was a maestro behind the bar and a maitre d' on the floor, it was a thing of beauty to see Jason at work. Keep it UP!
