Stopped in here for an early dinner on a Saturday evening. Service was slow to first be waited on, but once we ordered, food came out pretty quickly. Our waitress wasn't overly friendly and I had to ask for refills. We weren't real hungry so we didn't order much. My wife had the wedge salad and we shared the jumbo shrimp. My two kids shared a plate of fries and a basket of bread. We had no alcohol and the bill came to over $30! I thought that was outrageous for what we got. We won't be back.

My gf and I were staying at Ocean House and were looking for a place to eat. The innkeeper recommended we stop by here and glad that we did. Casual atmosphere and average priced menu.

We had the Broiled Scallops and Blackened Tuna Steak. Both tasted fresh and great. The Blackened Tuna had a nice char on the outside and was tender on the inside.

For dessert, we shared a Hot Apple Pie with Ice Cream which was very good. The combination of the hot Apple Pie with the coldness of the Ice Cream was a great contrast.

Would repeat next time I'm in the area.

The food was really good, came in large portions. Drinks were delicious. It was easy to find, and we had to wait about 30-40 minutes for a table because it was crowded, but once we were seated service was fairly quick. Definitely a good experience.

It’s a classic, plain & simple.

We’ve been going here for over 15 years. Not much has changed, nor should it. The portions are huge and the food is good. The atmosphere is warm and rich. It’s one of those places that just makes you happy because you are there.

Usually Irish bars don't make the best food but Rod's is an exception.

It can get noisy but that's part of the charm.
