This place has a great patio where BBQ plates are free and you pay what you want for the food at the end. Best part is that amount comes back as a gift certificate to use in the indoor restaurant. The food indoors is delicious too. Great BBQ ribs and burgers. Nice ambience too.

I love the outdoor patio but if your looking for a drink you can forget it. The freeloaders for the free BBQ have all the chairs and god forbid you try and get a drink from behind them. Quite frankly I'd like to see the free BBQ removed or at least charge 10 bucks to keep the riff-raft out. Other problem is the bartenders. Two of them for the entire bar. Really ? And I think they need a little supervision as well, not to fast and somewhat of an attitude. Sometimes its easier to go inside and get a drink and bring it back outside.

We enjoyed a good meal here. It was a Monday and the place was packed, but they were able to seat us quickly. They offer a few different dining options including the outside bar and BBQ. We ate in at the tavern and were served a pleasant meal. Between us we had steak, scallops, chicken and tilapia, all of which were good.
The place has changed a lot over the past few years and no longer strives for the high end fine dining that it was rightly famous for. The place is now well frequented by more middle of the road clientele who seem to be very regular attendees. The atmosphere inside and out is quite jolly, even buzzing, and on the whole I think the new paradigm works for the restaurant and the customers.
I think we will be back

This Inn has served the area since colonial days changing and evolving to stay current. Although we were disappointed when we lost our reliable white tablecloths fine eatery, we have come to appreciate the Tavern as a great place for burgers or comfort food any night of the week.....however, beware Fridays and Saturdays as it is it only very crowded but also likely to have live music which just increases the decibel levels. If you want a quiet romantic meal, this is probably no longer the venue for you....

We needed a place to get some food and drink on a Saturday night after checking out a local music venue. A friend told us to try the Stage House, and sure enough we were glad we did. Very cool atmosphere it being a place where the stagecoaches used to stop. Varied in the choice of, the bar, the dining room, and the tavern where live music and folks rockin and rollin abound.
