The food was very good. The bar area was a little loud. But that's what you get on a Friday night. The steak was excellent. The server Brianna was fantastic. The best in house. Got what I needed before even asking.

In my opinion the reviews of the Stage House are overly positive. We were there with a group of six and while nobody complained nobody praised the place or the food either. They offer a limited number of beers on tap and food that you'd expect to get at Applebee's. Not that Applebee's is bad, it just not what I'd describe as excellent or even very good. The decor is ok and I can see how it would be nice to hang out in their patio area on summer nights, but in January this place is the definition of average.

spring, summer and fall the Tavern's outside venue is awesome. The inside bar and restaurant area are also very comfortable. If you're looking for a bar scene this place can really get jammed with ages ranging from 21 through 50's and they also have bands certain nights.

There are 2 areas for dining the Tavern and the Stage House. Both are excellent...one being more casual and one elegant.

We go here often and have not been disappointed.

There are probably better places out there but the free summer bbq cannot be beat. Food off the regular menu is good too. Plus, you are eating in a building that is more than 200 years old. As a local, I love having this place in my town. It's one of my favorite places.

This is an old stage house stop with food like Fridays. It was built in the 1700's. Service very nice.
