“Delicious food, slow service”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

I had a reservation for 15 family members on a Saturday at 8pm. It was my first time. Atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. BYOB which saves $, they uncorked a few bottles that we brought in. The waitress was very nice and rattled off about 7 specials that all sounded excellent. The regular menu items looked great too. I had short ribs with gnocchi, so delicious! The gnocchi and the ragu (sauce) were the star of the dish, the ribs were slightly dry but tender and tasty. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Unfortunately we did not get our main course until 9:45 and it left some of us annoyed and hungry. If there is a long wait like that the least the staff should do is address it even if they can't do anything about it, just my opinion.

“Celebration”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

We visited with a group of 10 after a graduation celebration.. .Paisano's was very flexible with our arrival time and even seated us before the whole party arrived. The atmosphere was nice. The servers were very friendly, very knowledgable of the menu and able to answer specific ingredient questions for the diet conscious.......All dishes arrived rather quickly considering the restaurant was quite full...

There were no complaints on any of the dishes...I loved the calamari and the oysters rockefeller.. Other members of the party complemented the Italian soup, lobster ravioli, crabmeat ravioli...

Again, there were NO complaints............

“Expected better.”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

My hubby is a foodie, so we try lots of different eateries out. The place has beautiful decor, great service and a lovely menu. The food came quickly, but the clams oreganata were pale and mushy; not enough time under the broiler. The polpi over tomato slices were expensive and blah. The homemade gnocchi were gray (due to aging at room temp) which made them look unappetizing. They were twice the size of any we'd ever eaten before. The bolognese sauce was just meat sauce, not as nuanced a flavor as it should be. Steak was excellent. Oxtail ragu over homemade pasta was excellent. Hubby threw a fit when he saw $3.50 for a tea.
The average home cook could serve food tastier than this.

“Highly Recommend”
Reviewed June 7, 2013

Paisano's is by far the best Italian restaurant and I would highly recommend it to everyone. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is very cozy and the food is great! The steak with the sweet and sour sauce is unbelievably delicious!!! The waiters/waitresses are very nice, polite and helpful.

The only drawback is that if most of the restaurant is full, it is very noisy.
