This was one of my favorite go to places to eat. It is a BYOB, charming and friendly place. That is, until Ronaldo left. He was the core of this restaurant. Anna is wonderful. but I have to say the guy that took Ronaldo's place got my order wrong a couple of times and he is not friendly at all. Food is OK - I had a bad meal there about a month ago - again, this new waiter did not listen to my order and it was really overcooked chicken with mozz and supposed vodka sauce - dry as a bone. We ordered out last night and the order was wrong when we got home, and they told us wit would be an additional 30 minutes to make an order of Veal Franchese and Manicotti Bolognese. I am so disappointed with the downward turn of one of my ( used to be) favorite places.

We had dinner here yesterday and were unhappy.we ordered our appetizer, and a few minutes later we were asked to order our main course. We were not ready to order a main course yet but we were told it was the restaurants policy that we order our main course at the same time,I told him he must be mistaken so he went back to check and told us he was sorry but that was the policy. My friend went to the back to see if the owner was there but he was not. Then the Waitress/Manager came back and asked us again to give us our order for the main course. We told her we were not ready. she then stated she would not put in the appetizer until we ordered. What if we just wanted Appetizers? This rude woman then yelled out in the middle of the room "I don't know who you think you are but I am the manager and I make the rules. I suggest you ladies leave and go eat elsewhere. We then called the owner on the phone and had a few words with him. The sad part is the food was very good but I will never go back there again

My husband and I have dined here many times in the past few years. We have had anniversary and other different "parties" here. Not sure if the owners have changed or maybe the chefs but it's not the same. We went there tonight for our anniversary dinner and left upset. My son wanted linguine with his Pollo Parm and we were told we don't have a choice of pasta because that's how the chef wants it. I asked if there was any way possible to change it and she said no. Every where else you go, you have a choice. I ordered linguine with my Pollo Martino and was billed extra. I asked the server why and she said it's extra if you don't take the potato and vegetable. No where on the menu was that mentioned. You can substitute the potato but you don't have a choice of pasta for the Pollo Parm???? She was clearly irritated that I questioned that. They forgot our dessert so I had to mention it. The food is good but why all of a sudden all these "rules?" There are other Italian places in Rutherford so I think it's time to try a new place

This used to be a gem. Menu never changes. Two different chefs(brothers), now hit or miss. Service is fair if they don't know you.

Decent food (though the qualtiy has gone down). My wife and I were (notice, I said "were") regular customers (about twice a month). Brought a guest with us one night and was moved to another table during the meal to allow for their overbooking. They didn't even bother to put a table cloth on the table. Not an offer of a free coffee (or even a glass of water). How insulting and embarassing. Will let you know how their satelite reastaurant in Hasbrouck Heights works out....hopefully they will have a different staff there.
