Recommend you stop at Wawa on your way in. Located on Rio Grande Ave. Best lemonade (my opinion), great smoothie. Almost everything you can find.

The photo pictured is the wawa in wildwood. However this review is for the wawa in rio grande. The service at the gas pumps at all times of the day and night is very fast and friendly. When they get super busy during the summer they still get to your car as fast as possible. (Welcome to NJ where you're not allowed to pump your own tank) The gas prices are reasonable compared to other stations around town. The prepared food inside is ok but don't expect anything super tasty. Perfect for on the go food. The ATMs are a no fee ATM so that is also a great place to stop by and withdraw some cash without paying for it. Wawa in rio grande is you place to go for gas and a quick food grab.

Always reliable for a quick excellent Hoagie (Grinder or Sub to the visitor). The American is my favorite, as well as the Turkey Bowl with stuffing, mashed potatoes & cranberry sauce around Thanks Giving. Decent Coffee in a pince, and petrol at good prices too.

If you hang around Cape May's Texas Avenue Wawa in the morning, you might see many of the townsfolk come out with a coffee and maybe a donut or a breakfast sandwich. Wawa is the pinnacle of convenience stores: a wonderful variety of fresh convenience food and drink. Great sandwiches and hoagies, a mind boggling assortment of snack foods. Because all Wawas are corporately owned, everything is consistent and the staffs are well trained and friendly.
My wife and I visit this Wawa or another almost every morning and love it.

Really, what's not to love about WAWA? There should be one on every few miles all across the USA. Hoagies, snacks, drinks, smokes (if you need that tar and nicotine hit), clean bathrooms and fuel at most locations. What started as a single store when I was a kid (back in the 60's) is now everywhere in NJ, PA, DE and the surrounding areas. I have even seen them in VA and now Florida in my travels. Anyway, I know its just a convenience store and rating this with a review is sort of, well, a waste of time because who goes to a convenience store based on reviews but... it sure is a great to see one up ahead when you need it!
