Driving down the Garden State and seeing exit 109, I thought, "So good to be home!". I live in Northern New Hampshire and take the 5 1/2 hour drive (in good weather of course), to Red Bank, NJ once a month. I know that once I get off the exit, take the left and drive about 1/2 mile I will be "home" and can relax. The Extended Stay America in Red Bank has been a second home to me over the past year. I know that when I come in I will be greeted with, "Hey Kate you made it, how was the trip?" or " You are late, I was worried".
The hotel is very nice, clean, has a kitchette, large bathroom and located near the JBJ Soul Kitchen where I volunteer. It is the staff and the atmosphere though, that makes it feel like home. I highly recommend staying there when in the area, Tell 'em, Kate from NH sent you!More
