“Back tonight!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2013

I used to come here almost every week several years ago, but after starting it was not the case anymore. Also, when I went there may be two years ago there were different people and the food seems different too. So it was a great surprise recently when we went there with the friends - a lot of old staff back, food was out of this world and service second to none.
We are going back tonight!

“Excellent Food and Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

After walking around and checking restaurants in Princeton, our group decided on The Ferry House. The restaurant is upscale in décor, the menu varied with several specials available. Our group of 6 ordered the specials,(starters and entrees) which were excellent and beautifully presented. The service was also excellent and very professional. The specials were "pricey"($40.00 per entrée) which we were not aware of until the bill was presented, but the byob policy helps with the total cost, and the food quality was worth the cost.. Even the wine that you bring is carefully and thoughtfully prepared and presented. If you don't like surprise costs, you may want to ask the price of the starters and entrees as they describe it. This is the only restaurant I ever visited in this area of Princeton, so I don't have a comparison with others, but it is highly recommended for the menu, quality and presentation of the food, as well as the service, and great for a special occasion.

“Has Seen Better Days”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2013

This BYO bottle establishment is venerable, but has seen better days. It could use a makeover - both menu and ambiance wise. It still has sentimental value for many; neverthless, there are better places to choose in Princeton.

“Just about my favorite restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013

Small but cozy interior. EXCELLENT food...great wait staff. Did I mention the food is Excellent. Definitely try to have dinner here. A bit pricy but someone in the kitchen is giving thought to what they put together, how it all works and what their guests experience. YUMMY
