Appetizers were great. Had nachos & calamari very yummy and unique. Daughter had steak and thought it was great. Others had burgers also enjoyed. I had caesar salad with grilled chicken which I did not enjoy, Chicken very dry, mostly iceberg lettuce. Luckily, I was full from appetizers. We were seated in dining room which was very noisy considering it was not even full, like an echo chamber.

“Pub Food mixed with American fare”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

Great option if you are craving some English pub food or hearty American fare. I love the new quinoa salad with grilled protein and the skinny coconut cocktail!

“Cute little bar.”
Reviewed August 5, 2013 via mobile

We wanted a pub like atmosphere and found it here. We ate at the bar but they do have a great outdoor space for diners. We enjoyed reuben sandwiches and drinks. Think this becomes a college hangout later in the night. We ate around 8pm and it was starting to get loud by the time we left.

“Wonderful for late night, not for dinner”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Ask the waiter for the warm soft pretzels with spicy German mustard, which are not on the menu. Wonderful warm meades (honey wine) and beers and merely OK wines by the glass. Best place in town to go with a bunch of collaborators after a rehearsal, evening meeting, etc. to share appetizer plates. Sit in the enclosed porch.

“Great steak”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

We dined here with friends - three of us had steak (rib eye) which was supposed to have a cumin rub but we asked not to have it, which was agreed. Very filling, with veg. Merlot cost $9 I think, large glass, plus beers like Stella. Also serves British dises like Shepherds pie. V good chocolate puddings/cakes. There is space to eat outside in a quiet 'alleyway' though it was full the evening we dined, so we ate inside. There is also a kind of 'conservatory' dining area. All in all I recommend it for a convivial evening when you are hungry :)
