I've stayed here many times while visiting my family, since they accept large dogs and I'm an hhonors member. The room rate for this hotel is very reasonable, considering the location. The service of the staff has always exceeded expectations, and you get a breakfast out of the deal, too. Breakfast left a little to be desired this time - not sure how you screw up scrambled eggs, but maybe they are from powder? Biggest disappointment was the mold and mildew in the shower. This is a surprisingly nice property, so you don't expect the mildew - kinda spoils the experience. Management needs to address this.

We had a great time at the Hampton Inn. What made our visit so special was the friendly staff, especially Arlene and Pinky. We enjoyed the hearty breakfast. The room was clean and well maintained. We plan on returning some time soon.

We love to stay at Hampton Inns since the beds are super comfortable and clean. It is nice to walk into a hotel room and not feel uneasy to sit on the bed covering. We always get a good nights rest when we stay at most Hampton Inn locations.

This hotel is undergoing a renovation, but it was very dirty and the rooms do not have a pleasant odor. The halls had drywall dust on the floor, holes in the walls and generally a mess. The staff is helpful and the location is fine, but you may want to stay next door at the DoubleTree until all of the work is completed at this hotel.

Thank you for staying with us back when we made the upgrades you mention in your review. The challenge of upgrading hotels (like roads, for example) is that we NEVER CLOSE.

The drywall change only lasted a couple of days and was actually done to install a soundproofed wall based upon direct TripAdvisor Guest Feedback. It was completed quickly and the lobby and breakfast area are BEAUTIFUL now and the inconvenience mentioned by another guest has been fixed for all future guests.

Thanks again for staying with us!

Must say that this is an exceptional hotel. From the clean rooms to the awesome breakfast. Also, our shuttle driver, George, who took us to the wedding and reception hall on Friday and Saturday, was the kindest and most professional person i have ever dealt with. Safe and courteous driver. Also, the engineering department workers were fast and professional. 5 stars across the board.

We stayed twice at the end of Aug at the Hampton Inn as part of my daughter's college entrance trip. We left one large piece of luggage at the hotel in between and was very impressed when they asked me whether I would like to have to delivered to my room upon my second check-in. A very decent breakfast was included in the price but more surprisingly early dinner was also served free of charge from Monday to Thursday. It is a simple affair of burgers and hotdogs but nonetheless a nice and rare gesture. We had a large room with two king beds which functioned very well for our family of 3. The air-conditioning and toilet amenities are basic as you would expect of a family style hotel outside of the large cities. The front desk staffs are all very friendly and helpful, no less than many five star hotels. I would return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Princeton for pleasure or business.
