“Good place for a quick meal”

I grab lunch there fairly often. Good array of burgers, pastas, and other American standards. Service is good and the place is nicely decorated.

“Great food in nice setting”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

I been going to this place for last ten years, more often for lunch, but sometimes for dinner as well. The food did not change much in these years - and this is a good thing! They usually have monthly specials in the addition to the main menu which creates a lot of choices. Some of the favorites are the Cobb salad and the crab cakes we just enjoyed last weekend in the outside "Cabana" setting. Service is solid good, but not spectacular. The only recent disappointment was red-wine Sangria (but we just came back from Italy :).

“Average Food at NYC Prices”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

We went on Sunday at 4:15 pm to Main Street Cafe. The dining room didn't open until 5pm but they were serving the lunch menu in the bar. Which was fine with us. But then the waiter informed us that part of the menu was only served until 4 pm. We finally ordered but the service was spotty. My wife ordered pork sliders. Normally you would get 3 or 4 sliders. At Main Street you get only 2 sliders you would pay for 3 or 4 anywhere else.
The food is OK but definitely over priced for what you get.
