The Peacock Inn was a delightful surprise. Having under gone what appears to be a complete renovation everything is new. The staff were all very welcoming, as if we had known each other for years. The bar area is small but comfortable. John recommended a delicious wine, indeed the least expensive on the menu! The Peacock Inn diningroom is not yet open so John recommended the Alchemist & Barrister for casual dining. Great choice. The bed was soooo comfortable I wished it was a Saturday morning with no appointments to keep. Consolation though in the downy soft Frette bath linens! The room was light and modern yet in keeping with the historic feel of Princeton. Coffee, juice, and fresh pastries got the next day off to a great start.

This was my first visit to Princeton. A very nice village area and the drive out in the morning to the south was beautiful. Looking forward to returning after my next trip to NYC. If you are going to Princeton, the Peacock Inn is a great choice

This place is gorgeous now--sleek with muted grays and wheat in the downstairs dining room--the bar is very sexy and elegant. The rooms are extremely well-decorated without a trace hotel-ness, nor any of the cutesy B&B touches. This has a sophisticated, luxurious feel and, of course, a great location. The dining room will be open in May--can't wait to try it!

What a wonderful job in the remaking of this historical landmark it looks and feels 1000% better then before i hope you open soon , I was there today, it was just breathtaking the old victorian house is a piece of art of the 21 century, with bedrooms and bathrooms that are no longer a shame but a pleasure.

After a dissappointing stay in Nassau Inn I convinced my whole team to stay in Peacock Inn for our final presentation, unfortunately in Princeton one has a choice of only those 2 if wants to stay in the center.
Afterwards everybody agreed that this was fun, we were attending each others rooms like museums :) The consensus was that my room - kind of French style was the best. My boss got a very funny room for honeymooners, I guess :), all in red heart pillows. Yes, some facilities like conditioning etc looked outdated, but this hotel appeals in different way.
We found Peacock Inn refreshing after the standard comfort of business hotels and staff accomodating.
