We've always been happy with the food and ambience at Camillos .The staff have been friendly and eager to please. You can't miss with the oysters or fresh fish and sea-food pastas.Everything is cooked to order so service is on the leisurely side--definitely a place to go when not in a hurry.

Went back to this restaurant for a second visit after good experience with small party a few months ago and this time just two of us. The waitress who said she was going to be our waitress was excellent and started us off nicely but alas she seemed to disappear just before we were to get our entrees and when we inquired from the Maitre 'D what happened to her we were surprised to learn that she simply left!? Food overall was OK on this visit but one of the entrees was wring and the other was not correct. We opted to fix the one that needed repair and left alone the other so we could at least enjoy the great wine we chose from their small selection. They ran out of some entrees and wines and this may have been due to the university reunion weekend and so understandable. Dessert for one was old and so taken off the bill...thanks and pity about a great waitress but then you never know the whole story. Not sure we will return as uncomfortable watching her being uncomfortable when it was obvious she disagreed with food being served. Hmmm.

It won't be the quickest meal that you will ever have, but its worth the wait. The food is authentic Italian...rich but not too heavy. The seafood is the best in Princeton, even better than the Blue Point Grill. Service is friendly and helpful. We love going there and sitting outside.

Camillo's offers truly authentic Italian food of outstanding quality and high consistency. Camillo himself is on top of everything in this small restaurant, ensuring the quality of all of the food and ingredients and of each dish as it leaves the kitchen. And he has a great palate. We went last week and everything was superb. The Mozzarella Buffala with eggplant, peppers and pesto was essentially perfect; simple but completely fresh, tasty and simply prepared. Red Snapper was prepared beautifully, again completely fresh, simple ingredients, but cooked to perfection, as grilled fish would be in Italy. Deserts are great too. Tucked away in a shopping center, nonetheless, dinner at this small restaurant is like a mini-vacation in Italy. Highly recommended.
