We were in the neighborhood for a friends birthday & had dinner up the street and even though it was 38 degrees outside we HAD to go to Hoffmans. My husband is originally from the area but we live in Philly now. So after we spent a day in Asbury we ate in Pt. Pleasant we HAD to stop for ice cream before the drive back to Philly. Two of our friends had never had it before & we were so happy to introduce Hoffmans to them. Their ice cream is so creamy, fresh, yummy....you get the picture - its AMAZING! we ordered 2 cups, a cone & a milkshake & headed home. Everybody was so quiet on the way home slurping up ice cream. There was a wait but nothing compared to the summer. IF you want the best ice cream be prepared to wait but I tell you it is worth the wait everytime. Thanks Hoffman's.
