“wine tasting and tour”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

what a a great find! We went with anther couple and had a wonderful afternoon. One of the owners gave us the tour; plethora of background information with regards to the startup. The wines were delicious. I am particularly fond of Good Karma. The tastings were done in the barrel room which was a treat...the wines were served with bread, cheese, and delightful anedocts of how the wines received their names.

“Favorite Wine & Winery!”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

If you like wine and a great atmosphere you definitely need to check out Auburn Road. They have a variety of amazing wines and great food. Dinners are a 5 course meal starting with a wine and cheese pairing. Followed by fresh bruschetta with a sesame roll, ceasar salad, and the main course, usually some type of pasta, typically Severino's Pasta Company which great quality pasta, with shrimp. And the dinner is finished with some of their tasty desserts. If you really like wine I suggest signing up for their case club. Great service & great views of the vineyard.

This is such a nice place to spend a nice afternoon, sipping wine with friends and enjoying the view of the winery. Friendly staff, good wine selectlion, and they have little food plates to munch on with your wine. They also do dinners on Friday night, but I haven't had the opportunity to do so.

“Great Little Winery In Southern New Jersey”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

My wife and I took the winery tour on a beautiful early fall day last September. Dave was our tour guide. We have been on many tour of wineries in California, New Jersey, New York, and Tuscany, and I have to honestly say this was one of the most informative of all. Dave was very informative about the grape growing process, and how the vines are maintained. He took us out into the field, and encouraged us to handle the grape clusters to see the difference in the types of grapes. The rest of the tour was the about the processing of the grapes, the wine making process itself, and how the wines were aged. As it was harvest time much of this work was in process. Just outstanding.

On Friday evenings Auburn Road has "What's For Dinner Fridays" in the Enoteca. We finally made the time to go there for a meal this Friday and are so glad we did. The meal starts off with a three wine tasting paired with three cheeses. The server explained the wines and the cheeses, which were paired perfectly. A great way for those unfamiliar with Auburn Road wines to chosse a wine for dinner. Next come a three course meal. Each Friday there might be a different meal on the menu. It is not a menu per se, but just one item on any given Friday. You can check their web site to find out what ahead of time. The food was great; from salad to dessert. I had the hazelnut gelato. Yum!!! All this for $29 per person. A great bargain.

Everyone at Auburn Road is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home from the time you walk in until you leave. Scott at the bar is excellent and will let you taste a wine to try something new. Our server, who I am sorry to say, I forget his name, was most friendly, informative, and sociable. On Saturday evenings there is entertainment.

We would wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Auburn Road for the tour, tasting, and the Friday dinners. We'll be back!
