Wildflowers (once upon a time the Wayside Tavern) is just about the only game in town for maybe a four mile radius. Busy bar, popular after work gathering place. Plenty of seating, friendly attentive service, a good and varied menu that ranges from pizzas ("tomato pies"), through burgers, subs and cheese steaks, to filet mignon and crab-stuffed shrimp. Sides are VERY basic (usually green beans and a baked potato). Probably the simpler the food, the better, but the more elaborate dinners are also flavorful and competent, if not gourmet.
