Wildflowers (once upon a time the Wayside Tavern) is just about the only game in town for maybe a four mile radius. Busy bar, popular after work gathering place. Plenty of seating, friendly attentive service, a good and varied menu that ranges from pizzas ("tomato pies"), through burgers, subs and cheese steaks, to filet mignon and crab-stuffed shrimp. Sides are VERY basic (usually green beans and a baked potato). Probably the simpler the food, the better, but the more elaborate dinners are also flavorful and competent, if not gourmet.

One of the best places in central Jersey for pizza. I work really close to Wildflowers and make regular visits during lunch time. The pizza is always great, I recommend the plain, cheese is the only topping you need.

Reliable food and drink. Could be cleaner and more comfortable, but is a good place for a burger or a salad. Service is often slow and inattentive.

I've gone to Wildflowers with colleagues, both in small groups, and also reserving a back room for a larger party. It is just a nice, informal place for these gathering. They have a nice bar area as well. The food has always been good and I've always had good service.

I've eaten here on and off over the years. Not my favorite dining place, but most of my friends keep Kosher, so we don't tend to come here. The bar can be very noisy. Pizza is OK, salads are decent. What I like the best is their mussels in red sauce appetizer...enough for a meal + leftovers! They're good, fresh and the sauce is delicious.
