I have to say that this property is great! From the moment I entered, I felt welcome. At checkin, we were in need of a nice place to have dinner. Juan was ready with some great suggestions and even offered to make us reservations. He upgraded us to a beautiful room ( I think it's called an Executive King) for our anniversary and even had a beautiful dessert sent to our room that night with a personal note. What a great touch!

The facilities were great, our room was beautiful and clean and the staff were the best features. Whenever I called for anything or if I had a question, I always got friendly service from the staff. Great job to the team and we will be back again!

We were in the area for an event the following day so we only stayed there for 1 night. This is a very nice looking hotel. We stayed in room 369 which was clean and comfortable. The beds were a bit firm but again it was for only 1 night. We didn't make use of the fitness facility or restaurant so I can't comment on them. Hotel had quick and easy access to main road. My only negative observations were the charges for the mini fridge, internet and microwave. Had we stayed for any extended period of time, that would have been an issue. I know Sheraton is a well known reputable hotel chain but they aren't a 5 star either where the extra charges are expected. For a very short stay I would return.

Desiring a romantic, relaxing night away,we arranged with the main Sheraton reservations department for a King size room on the club floor (having had wonderful accommodations & experience at another well known/highly ranked hotel chain, on their club floor), paying more $ since an early evening light meal and breakfast would be included, with free Wifi, in the club floor lounge.
In this area of NJ there are few 4 star hotels and we felt that the Sheraton facilities would be wonderful. The fact that they had an outdoor pool was a huge draw since the weekend promised to be well into the 90's! Upon our arrival the lobby and main entrance were swarming with people checking in & out. Obviously there had been a wedding the night before, with many guests checking out at later than usual check out time (2pm) and an amazingly huge crowd with children checking in. When you are fully booked why would you let folks check out late? How could any cleaning staff complete thorough cleaning of all the rooms in 1 hour?
Our room was not ready early, as requested, and we were advised that the check in would occur in the next hour. No problem there and we chose to have lunch in the bar-pleasant surroundings and the waiter was very nice, although it seemed to take too long for 2 cold salads to be prepared and served since we were the only diners.
The lobby was noisy and many, many children were running around as if they were in a gymnasium or at a park- no parental supervision, no disciplining going on in this rather fancy hotel. This large, ethnically religious, group was apparently at the hotel for an 'education' seminar. They were totally indifferent to other guests at the hotel and were seen spilling beverages on the rug in the lobby and did nothing to clean up after themselves,(preferring to carry on conversations just 1 ft away) nor was any staff attempting to clean it up!
When our room was ready, in less than the hour mentioned, we were pleased with the room, although the bathroom was small, 2 people coould not be in there at the same time. As mentioned in other reviews there were only 2 sets of towels to use, where as many high end chains supply at least 1 extra set for their guests. The makeup mirror was on the far side of the sink and I had to squeeze between the toilet & the vanity to use it. The bed was lovely, with 2 soft, fluffy comforters, probably down or down alterative and nice pillows. Decor is modern with masculine touches. Nice size tv and the couch was nice to read and relax on. Desk was a nice size and the chair appeared to be ergonomic. We called the front desk for tech assistance, inquiring about cables to attach our laptop to the tv- they didn't have any available, which seems odd since they probably cater to a large business clientele Mon-Fri. For a property which was 'recently renovated' there were stains on the hall carpeting. General upkeep is so-so,perhaps their cleaning staff is over worked due to not having staff. No direct interaction with them so I can't say what their frame of mind was or their professionalism.
On to the pool to cool off and enjoy some late afternoon Sun: apparently this hotel sells memberships to their pools and the area was PACKED with small children and adults from the surrounding area!!! Food was littering the pool deck and children were in the pool on all sorts of floating toys, throwing balls around, being generally noisy and, well, being kids at a pool. Not what I expected from a Sheraton property!!! There were no towels available, the wait time was close to 30 minutes. It was anything BUT relaxing, so I'm actually glad that we arrived there later in the afternoon than we expected. It was akin to being 'at the shore'. The gym facilites were good- alot of machines, weights to use with an exercise room where classes were scheduled. I don't know if the hotel guests have access to them or just the 'members'. They have an indoor pool as well with a cold and hot tub. We didn't use them, but others preferred to stay indoors due to the shabbiness of the outdoor pool area! Definitely NOT a 4 star environment!!! The Sheraton does themselves a disservice by having this type of arrangement! It should be noted on their website and their reservation staff should be made aware of it. It felt more like a Motel 6 or Econo Lodge environment, but costing $160/ night!!
Children from the seminar group were in the elevators unsupervised, as late as 130am. The 4 elevators were very slow which resulted uncomforatbly, with too many people crowding on so they didn't have to wait for the next one!
We were looking forward to a leisurely breakfast on Sunday morning, but that proved to be another disaster: kids wre knocking on the lounge door for entrance, bare footed, unsupervised. Why should I have to get up from my breakfast to let someone elses kid in, while the parents weren't around? The staff should have made a point of requirng all children be supervised no matter what part of the hotell they were in. Where did the parents think they were to leave their kids alone, wandering the premises alone? This world is, unfotunately, a dangerous place and anyone could've taken those unsuperised kids. The breakfast was ok: eggs, bacon, various pastries, juices, hot beverages, fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, hot cereal (it looked like wallpaper paste).
The mattress was very nice & firm and we got a good nights rest. Yes the air conditioner was noisy, but the cool was welcomed and the noise probably acted as a good hall noise buffer!
Upon checking out, on Sunday, my husband complained to the desk staff. He received a $50 refund and was told that the manager would call the following day- it's now Thursday and no call from the hotel management! The entire pool area is run as a private concession, so they have no control over what transpires there. That's crazy for an organization that should pride themselves on their properties!
We will NOT be returning again!!!! It will be worth a short drive to stay at another 4 star property, where those who can afford to pay more than $80 for a night will be treated as true guests and our business will be appreciated!

Hotel looks great- the beds are comfy and the grounds are beautiful. Food from the hotel was decent. Not great but not bad. It's easy to get around- the highway is right there.

The only major issue I have is that you have to pay extra for internet. I'm sorry, but that's just ridiculous.

Great experience as always. Especially grateful to Brenda whose professional, caring, genuine sincerity helped to make my trip a pleasant reality. Justin was also great in helping my last night at the hotel. They both were very, very nice. They both were able to answer all of my questions and meet all of my needs.

Room Tip: Preferred Guest rooms are truly awesome and the sizes are truly satisfactory. Also, the Club Rooms offer a reasonable amount of pampering for the price.
