HOt breads is right on RT 46 , easy to get to - plenty of parking. The interior is clean with a few tables and chairs to eat in if you wish, mostly however this is at best a take out joint.
Hot breads has quite a variety of small cakes , sponge cakes are good , not too sweet and with flavors such as mango, Pistaccio, Rasberry and such . You can get a small cake by the slice for approx 3 which satisfies a sweet tooth. The bigger cakes( full) however are expensive and over $20 and most often look old in the counter.
They also carry savory pastries of all kinds which are nice and spicy with puff pastry. Sometimes it is a hit or miss, you get ones with a good amount of filling or sometimes it's little filling and all pastry. There is Thai chicken, Chicken tikka, chicken curry, vegetarian, and they are great for a quick lunch or snack on the go.
Hot breads also carries bigger meals such as puri baaji's , pav baaji's , curries and Chapati. All very inexpensive and tasty and quite authentically spiced. It is very satisfying. - Be warned they can get pretty spicy sometimes.
Ideal for snacks or a quick take out dinner.
I found it to be clean on all my visits.
