BuCu was pretty good. So, on the spectrum -- sure, it's much better than fast food. Also better than the TGIF's, Houlihan's, etc., and a very good alternative to other non-chain pub-grub places.
The burger was pretty good. Not the best of the so called "chains" but certainly near the top -- overall, a pretty good burger. I enjoyed it. I would go back, might order the same thing I had, but more likely I'd try something new. Unless I was in the mood for the same.
My burger came on a potato roll which some consider the "classic" burger bun. Some of the other burgers came with a cibatta roll, which looked pretty good. I rate Bobby Flay's, which is right nearby, better as I like the burger better (it has more flavor, more robust, "meaty" so to speak). The fries were fair. Nothing special.
