“Another busy franchise place”

Just like all the other franchises in our area, this is a busy place with ok food. Some days its better than others, but overall good for 3 stars.

“Way too average for the price”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2012

A very average meal for way too much $ . I have to say the servers are always very friendly and attentive but it seems everything is just so greasy and salty . They do have a pretty good tender prime rib and I have to admit I do like their chopped salad a lot !

“Once was .. a great place”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2011

We used to be regular customers of this Outback. A month back we had a bad experience where one of the steaks was undercooked and once returned from the kitchen was way overcooked. The fact that the place was not busy was unusual and the indifference of the manager when we commented about our dissatisfaction should have been a clear sign on where this restaurant was heading.
Saturday of Memorial day weekend we returned to give it another chance but...unfortunately it did not get better. The place was again not busy and we were first seated at the back in an almost empty section which we turned down before being seated at a booth in the main section. First strike was when the waitress came to tell us that they ran out of beer on the tap (imagine that...on a Saturday evening). The second strike were the mushy croutons in the salad combined with the unusually oily blooming onion. We were noticing at the same time that a number of tables around us were returning dishes to the kitchen. The third strikeout was when the main courses arrived...the one rib eye looked nothing like a rib eye and the other 3 plates were with no sides because "the mashed potatoes machine was broken". Although we were irritated by the lack of sides we ordered, we were more annoyed by the fact that no one told us ahead of time instead of dumping the half empty plates on our table. The manageress looked as if she was close to breaking into tears when we explained our dissatisfaction and fetched the owner who was busy "fixing the mashed potatoes machine"...that explains it all. Since he was full of good excuses and adamant that the the first steak was actually a rib eye and was not offering to replace it we decided to get up and leave.
Disappointed of the downturn of what once was a regular eatery for us, we drove 2 minutes up route 9 to the "Texas Roadhouse" where we were taken good care of and ate 4 amazing steaks.
We've been regulars of Outback restaurants and will likely return ... but certainly not to this one!
