“Large price for large portions of YUM!”
Reviewed August 10, 2010

Little hole in the wall. Looks like it was a residence converted to a restaurant. Very colorful with outdoor seating in the back where the parking lot is. The price was high but we were appeased when the portions were huge! Some very interesting menu items we've never seen before like scallop fajitas and passion fruit cream cake. Very good!

“Red Sky The Best”
Reviewed August 2, 2009

Have dined here multiple times. The specials are always outstanding. The crab cakes and gumbo are great choices too. I rate the jambalaya right up there with the New Orleans trendy establishments that I have been to. Be warned - this is a very small establishment with limited seating with long waits due to popularity, especially during the summer. BYOB and enjoy !!!

“Authentic Southwestern cuisine”
Reviewed June 26, 2009

We stumbled across this restaurant while driving down Route 9 looking to buy firewood for our campsite. There was a crowd parked at the tiny restaurant, so we figured it must be good. We picked up a take-out menu, and the next night we went back to try their food.

We had the Combo Platter, and chose the tacos and enchilladas. It was very tasty and authentic. The decor was very casual, colourful, and southwestern. Quite a lively place, with music, and people really enjoying their meals.

“Favorite restaurant in the South Jersey shore area”
Reviewed June 24, 2009

Definitely worth the drive off of any of the coast areas. While certainly always crowded (aren't all great places to eat?), it certainly is time well spent because the end result is a fabulous meal. My personal favorite is the soft seafood taco. I especially love the BYOB aspect.

“Homemade Southwestern food”

Great chile rellenos. Blue corn crabcakes are also good. It's definitely an in and out kind of restaurant. Lots of people waiting, without a waiting area. Probably different in the summer when you can wait outside
