Emjoyed our stay for most part. The room was nice . Nothing over the top but just the right thing for a beach stay. Had all we needed for a beach motel. The service was nice as they were able to even check us in early and offered parking spot and changing room even if they could not get us in before check in time. Cleaning staff did wonderful job and very quick I might add. Added benefit was that there was also a restaurant on premises. My son loved the pool. The outdoor patio area was nice too. Only problem was the terrible parking options. The lot is small and seems to be over booked somehow. Some guests blocked only way around lot by making their own spaces. But hotel remidied that situation right away. We parked and just decided it would be best to not move car the whole weekend. With all that said I woul probably go again , perhaps at a less busy time. I did go 4th of July weekend.

The staff was very helpful from answering questions before we arrived and including while we were there. They were very accommodating loaning us the beach tags for only a one night stay when the rules are for a three night stay. They allowed us to have our car remain on their lot after checkout for only an additional $5. It was clean, fresh sheets, a good size room and quiet. They do charge you $10 for an extra towel, but that is to keep their costs down and people from taking them to the beach. And they do charge 25 cents for ice and that is to discourage outside people from using the machine because it is right near the street. You can't blame them for that.

Room Tip: Our room could have used more outlets. There were only 2, but we managed. The room was a good size...

My days off are few and far between and I was really looking forward to a quick overnight trip to my favorite barrier island, Ocean City. Pavilion not only came in at the best price but they staff was so accomodating and helpful I could not believe that type of quality customer service still exists! I highly recommend staying here! Right near the boardwalk, affordable, clean, cozy and most of all an A+ staff that went the extra mile to make my stay that much more enjoyable.

this was one of the most DISGUSTING places that i have ever stayed in!!!!
the pros: GREAT LOCATION, nice little restaurant attached.
the cons: the rooms are filthy, just DISGUSTING!!!
BLECCHH!!!!
the "mattresses" were plastic pads
the "linens" consisted of a sheet (not fitted)
it was a sold out weekend in ocnj, so we stayed at this place-BEWARE OF THE 'FOUNTAIN ROOMS"-
these are rooms that were due for a total re-do in the 1970s (the last time that they probably received a decent cleaning)
the "fountain" is a dried up, cracked mess that sits on crab grass.
you feel like you have creepy crawly things on you after being in a room for more than 2 mins-just a dark, dank, nasty nightmare-
i still get the shivers when i think about this place-blehhhhh!!!!!!

Room Tip: stay somewhere else!!!!

It's not the Ritz. It's not the Borgata. It's not even the Flanders. It's a small hotel in OC. Set your expectations accordingly.
And then be prepared to have them exceeded.
We were able to catch a three night special with adjoining rooms for rates over $50 less than others we could find online, and nearly $200 less than our usual hotel (Harris House). The value for the price is outstanding.
Rooms are small, not well decorated. It's an OC hotel, remember. Most hotels in the area are similar, and are designed to sleep four in their beds (which are queen sized-most in OC are doubles!), not to add an extra air matress on the floor. We had five in the room, and were able to make the rollaway bed fit fine. It's a three floor hotel, with an elevator. To get to the top you need to take the elevator OR walk up three flights of steps, not an elevator ride AND a trek up three flights as one reviewer claimed. The pool is good sized, well kept, and heated. We found the staff pleasant, and able to answer any questions we had. They allowed us to stay on their lot after check out for free-one of the benefits of staying off season. They also allowed us to grab breakfast and check out after the usual check out time, another off season benefit. The location is great. No streets to cross to reach the boardwalk, as they are located on the east side of Atlantic Avenue. Oh, one disappoint is the lack of free Internet access.

In an OC hotel, but an above average one, if you have realistic expectations.
