Ocean City is a great family boardwalk. Very clean, beaches are great, instead of tee shirt shops there are so many real stores that are fun to shop through! It's a dry boardwalk, so you don't get the drunken messes!

The Ocean City Boardwalk had everything you need: food, rides, shopping, places to sit. This is a dry city, so no bars and no gambling are anywhere which gives it a pleasant atmosphere for people of all ages. There are lots of bathrooms and the kids (of all ages) will love the rides. There are many stores and shops where you can buy lovely clothes as well as the usual souvenirs and beach supplies and equipment. During Labor Day week (when we go), some shops and restaurants begin to close for the season, but there are still great places eat and to get pizza or a funnel cake. The whole Ocean City boardwalk experience is family friendly and inviting.

If you have fond memories of 50's family fun, this is the place to recreate them for the next generation. Ice creams shoppes, T-shirt stores, curly fires and caramel popcorn, bike rides with the rising sun, games, rides, and miniature golf. If your kids can't find lots to love here, I don't know where to send them. All within an easy ride from eastern PA, the NYC area, and anywhere in NJ. Don't forget to get at least one slice of Mack and Manco's pizza.

Had an awesome time "walkin the boards" yesterday in Ocean City, NJ. There's a lot of good food places with a variety of cuisine. Plenty of room on the boards for pedestrians and bicycles, even the 4 wheel kind for families. If you don't have your own bike, there's plenty of rental places to get one. This resort is one of the cleanest of all the south jersey shore towns.

The boardwalk is pleasant, fun, inexpensive compared to
some others, quiet, and just plain fun for everyone of all ages.
You can see the beach and ocean from the entire boardwalk...
no rides or buildings in your view.....they are all on the other
side.....WE LOVE IT!
