The Philly Cheese Steaks were perfect. The bun, the fried onions, everything was just right--but skip anything with seafood, which is not their speciality; the crab in the crab cake sandwich had been around a little too long. They get 5 stars for their other good sandwiches and their cleanliness. This is small cheerful old-fashioned walk-up place on the sidewalk with a window for ordering. There is an assortment of seating nearby--nothing matches--and some stools that you can hitch up to a little cantilevered shelf-table on the front of the place. Service is speedy, considering that everything is made to order. They have burgers, hot dogs, and an assortment of sandwiches. They have salads, too, and are serving Jersey tomatoes. Prices are high-season prices--$15 for a lobster roll seemed high for a walk-up place, but $8.50 for a great cheese steak seemed right for the Shore. You can call ahead with your order for take-out; and they seem to do catering.
