“Best Pizza on the planet”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

hands down, without a doubt the finest pie to be found anywhere.Nothing wrong with Brooklyn or the other boroughs, Chicago is fine but this little place dishes out the freshest , hottest, thinnest pizza you will ever experience.
Hint 4 locations on the boardwalk so if you hit a big line keep walking, you will find one with faster service

“The Best Pizza EVER!!!”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

I cannot say enough how much we love the pizza here! We come for a 3 generation family vacation every summer, and the first place we head to is Manco Manco's. Excellent pizza!

“Good pizza. Too expensive”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

Grew up in Phila., Pa. There are about a dozen pizza establishments in Phila. that I rate as outstanding. Moved to So. Jersey a few years back and have to admit that Manco's is one of the best tasting in this area, however, at $16 for a plain pizza.....it's a bit too expensive. We would order more frequently if this was not the case.

“Your Church and Mine”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

Writing about Boardwalk pizza is like writing about church. If you like the boardwalk, you probably like boardwalk pizza. If you don’t like the boardwalk then you follow the same belief as I. Business took me to Ocean City on a cold and gray day in March. It was time for a quick lunch. The suggestion was Manco and Manco. The meandering line outside the front entrance while long did move quickly. Inside, patrons are seated at a long counter or at one many tables. A frenetically moving army of men in white cheerfully attend to your order. Thanks to a rotating factory style oven your pizza arrives within minutes. The steam rising from the surface gives the impression that the pizza is still too hot to eat. A little test nibble tells you that it actually just warm. Perhaps the illusion is due to the rapid rotate ovens. But the heat of the pizza is not the real shortcoming. A full bite tells you that you are not eating pizza but tomato sauce on some kind of polenta. The crust is not at all a crust. It is little more than mush. Manco and Manco’s pizza is not even the paper towel pizza of Wildwood. It certainly had nothing in common with true Neapolitan wood oven pizza. (On a side note, they do not even offer a shaker of parmesan. Even Kraft green jar stuff might help.) But, clearly, as judged by the happy crowd around me, this is not the common perception. I console myself with the words of Thoreau: “any man more right than his neighbors constitutes a majority of one.” But then, you go to your church and I’ll go to mine.
