“Hit and Miss”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2014 via mobile

Had dinner here with my family on a busy Friday night. Service was great. My daughter and I had the French Onion Soup which was bland. You expect a deep, rich beef broth. It was light, heavy on the herbs and lacking flavor. We also shared a BLT which was good. The almost $4 side of fries was nothing special. My son enjoyed his hamburger. And my husband loved his gyro. I would go again and focus on the Greek entrees. The waitress was friendly and efficient and the food arrived quickly despite it being packed.

“Great food and excellent service.”

I was there last night for dinner and had delicious lamb chops cooked to perfection. Came back for breakfast today and had the Brie cheese Portobello Benedict which was out of this world. The Green Power smoothie was delicious too!! Service was Excellent and I highly recommend Yannis for Breakfast Lunch or Dinner.

“A taste of Greece in a small New Jersey community...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2014

Have you ever had olive oil from Crete,Greece? At Yanni's you can! This is not olive oil from your local grocery store, this is from the Mediteraneean. We visit every summer. Montreal is packed with many good Greek restaurants and it's hard to find authentic Greek food when traveling. Yanni learned how to prepare Greek food in Montreal and it's as good as Toronto, Miami, New York, Chicago and other big cities which have maintained the traditional ways. We happened to find this good spot on our first visit a few years ago. It's a small cosy restaurant with friendly service, wi-fi, a counter with stools for a quick bite like a fresh bagel. Our kids like the fresh smoothies, we like the Greek food. The restaurant looks more modern now, since hurricane Sandy ravaged it in the fall. I read an article on the Ocean City Gazette online saying that 6 weeks after the disaster Yanni's was open again and totally renovated! All the seating area and equipment were lost to water damage. Ocean city was hit hard, they are a small community and help each other through tough times.

“Most disguisting place ever”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

Food was totally uneatable....i first ordered a souvlaki ( it is a greek restaurant ) and they were all out ....i then ordered a gyros wich wasnt good at all, hubby ordered pasta with white sauce , there was no sauce in the plate and no flavor at all...we left 3/4 of our plates on the table . We will never go back and dont recommend it. And to top it all off you can take a peak in the kitchen going to the washroom wich was distingly dirty...no wonder the food was so bad. Chef Ramsey should go clen up the place. If there would be a zero rating thats whats this place would get .

“terrific breakfast, nice staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

we were in search of wifi in Ocean City NJ--you'd think it would be easier to find. Ended up here for breakfast, the food was excellent and we got to use wifi as well, so we could get our work done. Omelet was great, everything bagel great, smoothies excellent, yogurt parfaits very good, bacon very good.
Would highly recommend it!
