Have you ever had olive oil from Crete,Greece? At Yanni's you can! This is not olive oil from your local grocery store, this is from the Mediteraneean. We visit every summer. Montreal is packed with many good Greek restaurants and it's hard to find authentic Greek food when traveling. Yanni learned how to prepare Greek food in Montreal and it's as good as Toronto, Miami, New York, Chicago and other big cities which have maintained the traditional ways. We happened to find this good spot on our first visit a few years ago. It's a small cosy restaurant with friendly service, wi-fi, a counter with stools for a quick bite like a fresh bagel. Our kids like the fresh smoothies, we like the Greek food. The restaurant looks more modern now, since hurricane Sandy ravaged it in the fall. I read an article on the Ocean City Gazette online saying that 6 weeks after the disaster Yanni's was open again and totally renovated! All the seating area and equipment were lost to water damage. Ocean city was hit hard, they are a small community and help each other through tough times.

Food was totally uneatable....i first ordered a souvlaki ( it is a greek restaurant ) and they were all out ....i then ordered a gyros wich wasnt good at all, hubby ordered pasta with white sauce , there was no sauce in the plate and no flavor at all...we left 3/4 of our plates on the table . We will never go back and dont recommend it. And to top it all off you can take a peak in the kitchen going to the washroom wich was distingly dirty...no wonder the food was so bad. Chef Ramsey should go clen up the place. If there would be a zero rating thats whats this place would get .

we were in search of wifi in Ocean City NJ--you'd think it would be easier to find. Ended up here for breakfast, the food was excellent and we got to use wifi as well, so we could get our work done. Omelet was great, everything bagel great, smoothies excellent, yogurt parfaits very good, bacon very good.
Would highly recommend it!

We have eaten mostly lunch and breakfast here, but had dinner last night. Food was good. The service is always wonderful. We love being able to sit outside, they have a lovely seating area. We will continue to come here!

We have been coming to this place every summer for several years now, and sometimes with big groups including kids that take over the place. It's awesome, they are nice and the food pleases even the most picky eaters among us. It's a real bummer that this year they closed their boardwalk venue!! Now, we have to get ourselves to them on Asbury. Also, this year they re-modeled and I happen to like the old diner-type layout better, but the food and service are the same solid quality across the board. Kids menu is small, but perfect.
