Ten years ago I tried this restaurant and decided not to go back but based on recommendation by several friends my wife and I decided to give it another try, and wow! What a difference. The food was excellent and the service was prompt and courteous thus making the experience exceptional.

Friendly and popular spot with a varied Italian menu. It’s a nice greeting w some sliced meet and cheese to whet the appetite. The artichoke and shrimp VG. The Caesar salad ...just OK. and the sautéed artichokes were inedible and too salty. The Giambote was over cooked chicken. The Branzino and veal chop were quite good.

25 years in Bergen county...I can’t believe I was never here!
The decore is very cozy and elegant, the food is delicious, from the welcoming starter that they offer you on the table every dish we try was done to perfection.
I just loved their bronzino.
The all staff is friendly, cometent and attentive.
We will be back for sure...it’s a must!

Norwood NJ is not a bustling town so it is an unlikely place for pricey restaurants to be situated and there are several there including Dimora Restaurant. You arrive at an enclave off the main route, hidden between the residential properties, to find this place. Valet parking, then go up several steps, inside to find a bar and dining room separated in two quarters.

Everything is calm until you sit down. Then a parade of servers and busboys approach the table so frequently you cannot think and chew at the same time. Head server utters "today's specials" and talks with the speed of a legal disclaimer in a TV advertisement. Somehow you order, then the food arrives and some of it is good (lobster linguini, fish) but pricey. At the end of a rushed dinner, you pay what you would have paid at a $$$$ restaurant in Manhattan and you compare the experience. Was it worth it...?

Well, the valet parking man was very efficient.
