I grew up with this lighthouse. It was always painted white. Then, in recent years, research has revealed the current tan to be the correct color. The building takes you back to another era of gingerbread wood construction. The gardens are wonderful examples of old time Wildwood flowers that everyone had when we were children. Take time to walk the bulkhead that lines the beachfront. Take the dog, take the kids, take yourself. One of the pristine pleasures of simple beach life.
