Coconut Cove will go out of business if they keep up this poor, slow service and management. I will never patronize this place again as they were rude when we asked for our bill and wanted to pay for only the food/drinks we received (after a 50 min wait for table - when tables were empty but service couldn't accommodate a crowd on a Wed night - then 15 minutes til waitress took our order and then 45 minutes til we received some of our food) - they said our food was ready and we'd have to pay for it. We had to get out of there - so we paid for the food (with a gratuity they included due to our party of 8) - though we didn't get all of our food. From the beach house I called and reported the missing burger to an answering machine - then an hour later realized we did not have our ceaser salad either - and left another message. The next day they did return my call and are to credit my card for the salad - but had the nerve to insist we had the burger!! They should not be in the service business as they are not good at it at all!!

My wife and I recently got married in Stone Harbor. We had all of our friends and family at the shore with us. The Thursday before the wedding, we had planned for the whole bridal party and there significant others to relax and have a few adult beverages. Everyone was soooooo excited to get here. We had reservations for 7:00, for dinner and drinks. We were sat quickly and even had our first drinks quickly. We even had our food orders taken in a reasonable amount of time. This is when everything changed. We never received a second drink. We even had people scattered at different bars trying to get refills. We didn't see the waitress for 2 hours!!! Yes, 2 hours!!! When we finally tracked her down, she said the food would be right out. 30 minutes later, she began bringing cold meals out to half of the guests. At this point we were done with this place. We asked for a manager. When he arrived, he apologized and stated that the meals would be comped. He advised that we would have to pay for our drinks. We had no problem with that. The drink bill arrived with a 26% gratuity added. We weren't happy with this since the service was terrible.
Take our advice, never plan a special day at this place!!!!

We had a big party which meant if they played their cards right they could have made money. Waited for drinks for about 20 mins. Then when we needed refilld they would bring them out one at time about 10-15 mins apart. We waited 2 hrs for food all awhile with no drinks. Then when we got the food it was so cold! There was still 4 ppl waiting for their food when we decided to leave and they still charged us for tip????? Awful don't go!!!

I visited this restaurant with my family. We were told there was a 45 minute wait. We dutifully took are pager and started to spend money at the bar. The service was slow at the bar but we waited. About an hour later we checked on our table and were told that we were up next. Several minutes later the pager went off and we proceeded to the host stand to be seated. On our way from the host stand to our seat a manager came flying by saying the kitchen was closed. A very upset hostess asked for our patience while she investigated. She was unable to supply a reason the kitchen was closing early. The manager acknowledged that we were upset but wanted us to stay and drink. I understand that things happen and this may actually have been legitimate but the manager was poorly trained and unable to handle the most basic of questions. Do not eat at this resauarant.

What a nightmare. I couldn't wait to go here on vacation this past month. I go in with 3 other friends and immediately there is a problem. One customer was asking the hostess why she was told it was a 20 min wait and now it was 45. We looked around and no one else was waiting. There was a ton of tables open. They tell us "oh its a mess here tonight there aren't even servers"... They tell us 45 min wait. We wait a half hour and we ask again what the wait is and she says ANOTHER 45 mins because there are like 2 servers so they said stop seating people. It was a diagrace and we left.
