Just came home today from a week at the Sahara. Same problems as the others. 3 of us and 2 towels. Did not get maid service every day, garbage and towels left on piles outside of the rooms.
When we checked in we had to wait about 1 1/2 hours to get into our room. They said the room was not ready, we were sitting in 100 degree heat and could see our room and nobody went in or out of it. The room was made up I looked in the window. The one guy has you sign for towels but what you sign is to refuse maid service for that day. Some guests when the got towels did not get them until after 6:00 PM. Most returning customers were given several stories as to why Nick and Kenny were not there. The place is now being run by Cabrera Property Management.
They have some staff that have only been there for 1 week. Still pretty clean but not even close to being what it was. So Ricky when you respond to this be honest your housekeepers are not doing the job. And if anybody stays here bring your room confirmation with you. The lady at the desk could not find me on there list but was willing to give me a good deal on a room. I handed her a copy of the confirmation and all of a sudden she found me. No idea what the rates are going to be like in 2013.
